Job Description

The Consignment Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely analysis of both Travel Stock and Hospital Consignment inventory submissions from sales team representatives and providing the sales team representatives with reports throughout the reconciliation process until completed. This person is also responsible for compiling analysis packets for review as per requirement from management and ensure that contract documentation is included.
We are open to hiring remotely within the US*. Candidates in the Bay Area will be expected to be on a hybrid schedule, with 3 on-site days per week.
*Hiring fully remotely for candidates in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, WYWhat You’ll Work On• Process manual reconciliation analysis for both the Travel Stock and Hospital Consignment programs while following work instructions and ensuring accuracy. • Completely close out and reconcile by the end of each quarter either Travel Stock submissions or Hospital Consignment submissions (depending on project allocation for the quarter) for all facilities or sales representatives that are part of these programs. • Hospital Consignment Program reconciliation requires that the total number of items at the account are a 100% match to the contract and SAP database. Track and record reorders of any identified usages at the account and obtain closure of the analysis quarterly. • Sales Representative controlled Travel Stock Program reconciliation requires that the exact lot id be a 100% match to the SAP database. Follow up and reconcile any variances in the travel stock analysis with the representative by the required monthly deadline. • Provide, as required, monthly or quarterly reporting of Travel Stock and Hospital Consignment programs to Finance. • Perform, as required, transactions in SAP to update lot IDs within specific hospital locations to ensure that SAP reflects inventory with current expiration dates. • Escalate items to management that are unresolved and preventing closure of analysis within the established timeline requirements. • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures. • Perform other work-related duties as assignedWhat You Contribute• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably In Inventory Management, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics and/or Supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations and excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills • Proven ability to organize, analyze, present data and relate findings to business solutions • Solid business acumen, presentation, and effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact with senior leadership and at all levels within the organization • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks while meeting timelines • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP (preferred)Working ConditionsGeneral office environment.The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Base Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00 / hourThis is the pay range for a high-cost labor market; if hired in another region, there will be a difference in pay range.
