QA E2E Senior Engineer

CARTO with its new CARTO 3 platform has built the most advanced location intelligence platform which connects directly to the most used Data Warehouses in the industry such as Google’s BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake and Databricks; thus, allowing our partners and customers to do location intelligence and geospatial analysis directly where their data lives opening limitless possibilities for their businesses.
To continue this growth, the engineering team is looking for an experienced QA E2E Lead Engineer to work and focus on making CARTO the most robust location platform in the market.
Location: Remote
You will

• Own the E2E automated testing strategy and roadmap for the whole CARTO 3 platform
• Work closely with development teams implementing and reviewing E2E automated tests
• Prepare initiatives to close the gap in areas with lower coverage
• Support the wider team by offering them direct support with the tooling, ramping up implementation of their tests and planning of E2E tests
• Become an expert in Spatial Analysis using SQL

You offer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience in E2E automated testing with tools like Playwright and experience writing Typescript
• Understanding of modern CI/CD setups like provided by GitHub
• Experience working with SQL
• Fluent English
• Autonomy, curiosity, really eagerness to learn, and good energy
