At ABCDx we are creating the future of point-of-care brain injury diagnostics by turning smartphones into medical devices. By pioneering the ability to decode chemical messages of the brain (brain biomarkers), we developed a clinically validated method to detect brain injury using just a single blood drop.

As we are building our team in Barcelona, we are looking for an experienced COO to join us on our adventure. Your mission will be to lead the business operations needed on our way to transforming the future of brain injury diagnostics, by building and scaling teams, designing processes, procedures and quality management systems, working with highly complex and ever-changing regulations (Software As A Medical Device).

What you need to reach your full potential

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior positions (COO or VP Operations), preferably in the Healthcare industry
• Experience in building or scaling a startup
• Ideally you are familiar with fund raising
• A proven success record of owning cross-functional operational elements of an entire company.
• Experience leading large teams, including other senior management.

• Designing and implementing highly effective business strategies, plans, and processes.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team that includes other senior management in the following business areas: Market Solutions amp; Implementation, Corporate Brand, Business development, Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, People/HR, fund raising.
• Setting and meeting comprehensive goals for company performance and growth.
• Establishing practices that promote company culture and vision.
• Analyzing and interpreting data and metrics to drive performance.
• Reporting to the CEO on all matters of importance.
• Engaging and supporting relationships with clients, investors, partners, and vendors.
