We are looking for a Head of Content to join our Dating team and take our high-volume entertainment dating sites to the next level.

As our Head of Content, you will be responsible for all aspects of content production and management, both for our mature products and our new-generation sites and apps. You will work closely with various departments, including product development, tech, data analysis, and customer service to ensure the success of our high-volume entertainment dating sites.

Reporting to the Product Director, the ideal Head of Content would be both a hands-on and strategic person. You will be asked to understand the psychology of our users, overseeing the creation of all the story lines (which include photos, videos and audio content) around the products but also start to build projects from scratch (from AB testing content to building a call-center). Your ability to lead multiple projects at the same time will be key in your success.

Even if you don’t specifically have a background in the dating vertical, we would be happy to hear from you if you think you can be passionate about understanding the needs of our users and produce a content experience that will delight and retain them.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and team management: manage a team of content creators, real time chat agents and writers, both in the day to day and in the more strategic sense
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology, producing and displaying interactive content that will lead to conversion and retention.
  • Understand the ever changing competitive landscape and keep abreast of trends, introducing innovation to make sure our products stay on top of what the audience wants
  • Research user behaviors and requirements through qualitative and quantitative data insights, included but not limited to user testing, funnel analysis, surveys
  • Develop a content strategy for our established and new dating sites and apps, may it be written content for the chat application, visual content and profiling, videos or audio messages
  • Understand the higher level business goals and direction, and translate these into a product strategy together with the other stakeholders
  • Manage external suppliers, negotiate rates and contracts, establish timelines and follow up on task completion and delivery
  • Interpret data insights and trends, understanding user behavior and putting in place KPIs that eventually relate to revenue growth
  • Ensure the highest possible quality of our users’ experience in interacting with the site, and in particular with the chat application
  • Increase overall conversion rate (from lead to sale) through content optimization strategy.
  • Advocate the content vision to the teams as well as executives and founders

Requirements

  • A background in a similarly creative yet data-driven role, ideally having managed a team of content creators
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional quality, we need someone who will become obsessed with understanding and satisfying what our users need on site
  • Data driven
  • Great communication skills and an ability to present and sell concepts to the product department and other collaborating teams in a clear, simple, engaging, and relatable manner. Candidates' communication skills have to be good both in written and verbal form.
  • An ability to work well independently as well as with a team. We are always looking for people who remove blockers and get things done in a collaborative way.
  • You possess effective problem solving abilities.
  • You have a hands-on approach when it’s needed, and you can delegate when required.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of some basic technical concepts and workflows
  • Native English level is a must
  • Familiarity with data analysis and AB testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management softwares (Jira) a plus
