What you will do:
You will be part of the VR team working closely with the Product Director. We expect that the Social Media Specialist could be able to increase the followers counts across brand profiles, increase social reach, and brand awareness, and consistent manual engagement on Instagram, Reddit, YouTube and Twitter. Also, as a secondary focus you will be updating criteria for engagement.
Main tasks
- Up to 80% manual engagement and content selection
- 10% Writing creative copy
- 5% Recording daily workflow and tracking goals
- 5% Updating criteria for engagement
- Review hashtag use, competitor accounts, and influencer accounts
- Optimize engagement through timely posting
- Communicate and collaborate with relevant industry influencers
- Note new hashtags, competitor accounts, and influencer accounts discovered while engaging.
- Select a new set of hashtags, competitor accounts, and influencer accounts for following engagement sessions.
Requirements
- Native English speaker, or advanced knowledge of colloquial English suitable for social media. Previous experience in affiliate management
- Basic understanding of typical social media platforms and practices
- Proactive ability to learn and adapt
- Basic video and photo editing knowledge
- Creative copywriting skills
- Basic understanding of social media analytics/scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or AgoraPulse
- 2 hours continuous block of time for manual engagement work
