Hubtype is looking for a highly motivated, goal-exceeding, proven hunter and closer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment. The Strategic Account Director is responsible for starting-up/developing commercial opportunities and closing new business in new enterprise accounts in insurance, banking and retail.

The ideal candidate has their own contacts and solid experience in startups in a growth phase ($1-5M in ARR) selling into the enterprise level, and has proven experience in consultative selling and being able to meet C-level face-to-face with the attitude of a trusted advisor.

The Strategic Account Director needs to drive sales opportunities from identification to close and have the experience and the confidence to manage relations and negotiations autonomously and in line with the strategic and business priorities as well as the commercial approach of the company. The candidate needs to be hands-on in building a book of opportunities and business while simultaneously meeting prospects and closing business. Some international travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, reaching out, setting up and executing sales meetings with C-level executives, directors and managers to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Identifying and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders within target verticals and accounts
  • Profiling target accounts, uncovering all decision-makers and influencers, conducting a thorough needs-analysis process, creating demand and closing high value deals
  • Engaging inbound leads in the sales process
  • Engaging with prospects to understand their pain points and create compelling business cases to meet their needs
  • Leading sales meetings, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proposals
  • Progressing the deals up to negotiations amp; closing
  • Collaborating with SDR’s and Marketing to optimise go-to-market strategy and execution

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience with a successful track record of closing five- and six-figure deals
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Fluent Spanish and English required
  • Experience navigating and managing complex enterprise sales cycles while building strong relationships
  • Ability to articulate value propositions and communicate them via phone, email or LinkedIn
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a positive and approachable way
  • Confidence in dealing with prospects, including those in junior and senior management positions
  • High level of negotiation skills
  • Experience in keeping track of your activities in a sales CRM and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and data quality
