Senior Technical Support Engineer
Pix4D, Spain

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer in GNSS sensor solutions to join our Customer Services team, based in our Madrid office.

Pix4D develops photogrammetry software and products that empower professionals around the world to capture, process, edit and assess their own maps and 3D models.

This role requires you to become an expert on our Pix4D products, provide technical support and occasionally training and onboarding services to both customers and partners. You will have the opportunity to solve data acquisition, processing and post-processing related issues. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of GNSS solutions and a background in Geomatics, Surveying or other related field, excellent communication, people skills, as well as interest and desire to evolve in a fast-growing technology company.

• Provide fast and efficient customer Tier 3 service to resellers and end-users
• Focus on Pix4D viDoc RTK Rover (GNSS) hardware and PIX4Dcatch software
• Provide client support and resolve technical issues via a wide range of communication channels including a ticketing system (i.e. Zendesk), phone, Community (Forum)
• Create, update and maintain Documentation articles as required
• Provide training and onboarding service (online and in person)
• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information to refine and improve selling strategies
• Operate successfully within a multinational organization supporting worldwide customers
• Encourage seamless communication between the development team and the end-user by sharing customer experiences and staying up to date with the state of the product’s development
• Work closely with other Support experts in Berlin, Denver, Lausanne, Madrid and Tokyo
• Propose and implement initiatives that improve the customer experience and help the team scale-up

Requirements

• Proven experience dealing with GNSS rovers in the Geospatial or Construction industries, and a specific interest in related geospatial techniques and devices.
• Experience and knowledge in the field of Surveying/ Geomatics/ Photogrammetry/ Mapping or similar.
• Experience with Pix4D products.
• Knowledge of drones/drone mapping is a strong advantage.
• Experience with radiometry, multispectral and thermal imagery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HTML, Python or other programming languages is an advantage.
• Master Pix4D’s products and solutions and stay up to date on improvements.
• Possesses strong communication skills, both verbal amp; written.
• Customer-oriented, empathetic, caring about solving user problems.
• Independent and well-organized team player.
• Flexible and open-minded attitude, and ability to feel at home in a fast-paced and growing international environment.
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
