Job Description

Lead our global sales team and help scale CloudTalk to 100m ARR
Work 100% remotely in Europe or from our offices (Prague, Bratislava or Malaga)

Looking ahead, we plan to develop new integrations and in the future set up an AI-focused innovations lab that will bring new ideas to the long-outdated business telephony market.


About the role:

Driven by an increased need for cloud-based, remote-ready communication and a growing acceptance of remote working, we are seeing continuous demand for our product. We are now looking to hire a VP Sales who will lead an ambitious scaling journey and help CloudTalk continue on this growing trajectory.

As part of the commercial leadership team, the incoming VP Sales will play an essential role in CloudTalk’s growth, with an overall responsibility of achieving ARR targets, executing strategic plans that will help CloudTalk expand customer segments, geographies, new sales channels, and improve existing operations.


What you’ll work on:

Sales Strategy amp; Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue goals, growth, and market share, across both SMB and Mid-market segments
  • Create a scalable outbound playbook while continuing scaling inbound with high efficiency
  • Conduct an audit on current processes, structure, and strategy and build an optimization plan
  • Create playbooks and frameworks for further scale, implement sales metrics and processes, lead funnel development and conversion
  • Drive CloudTalk’s revenue growth to ~$20m-50m ARR
  • Build and successfully execute multi-channel GTM strategies in new geographies and international markets
  • Establish efficiency in the business ensuring CloudTalk consistently achieves the growth targets

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships and collaboration across product amp; engineering, marketing and customer success, people, and operations.


What we are looking for:

  • Software-as-a-Service expertise with extensive experience selling to SMB and Mid-Market customers through both inbound and outbound channels.
  • Strong strategic outbound experience amp; start-up experience
  • Experience in creating playbooks and frameworks for scale, implementing sales metrics and processes, and leading funnel development and conversion.
  • Proven experience leading growth to ~$20m-50m ARR
  • Experience in horizontal SaaS with an international customer base.
  • Established history of reaching and overachieving individual and group sales targets
  • Hands-on leadership, ability to set the right structures, processes, and relevant tools to enable success, drive accountability and responsibility into the team
  • Experience leading distributed teams as well as building and leading multicultural organizations of the required scale.
