HR Internship (Maternity Cover)

Job Description
Gaming Innovation Group is looking for a HR Intern to support our HR Department for 6 months, this is a Maternity Cover role. This is an amazing opportunity for you to grow your knowledge and expertise within HR. You will get close to the full scale of HR projects and you get to have an impact in defining and administrating the processes. You will get the opportunity to work and grow the operational part of HR in Marbella, but you will also work together with the People Ops team in different locations
If you have a natural interest in people, you like the operational part of HR and a if you keep a high level of verbal and written English, as we have a mix of different nationalities, this is your next challenge. This is a part time position, it will consist of 20-25 hours a week and you will work in a team that will be constantly with you to enhance your learning day by day.
Main Responsibilities:
Supporting onboarding and offboarding of employees (from pre-onboarding).
Assist new joiners with NIE and Social Security (Registration to all public administration).
Support sub teams within the PeopleOps team where necessary.
Create and maintain HR files with updates and changes.
Manage the HRIS for employees, ensuring that the relevant HR database is up-to-date,
accurate, and complies with local legislation.
Compile reports as requested.
Assist with the monthly time sheet and admin HR mandatory tasks.
Prepare ad hoc HR-related admin and respond to-day to requests related to basics HR issues
and be the responsible of the email.
Requirements:
Basic payroll knowledge and experience
Basic knowledge of Spanish Employment Law
Tech savvy, comfortable using Microsoft Office/GSuite/Slack applications, in particular Excel
or similar
Fluent in English and have a high level of Spanish.
Previous experience with similar roles will be considered an asset, but not a must.
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to prioritise and plan work activities to use time efficiently
Willingness to learn
