This role can be based in one of our albelli or Photobox offices in London, Amsterdam or Barcelona.
The Storefront team is looking for a Full stack engineer! Together we’ll build and maintain our websites and (micro-) services across the European market and we can’t wait to see the skills you’ll add to our team. About you
Requirements
- You are a NodeJS hero with solid professional experience.
- On the client side you are experienced in JavaScript, ES6 and beyond, HTML5 and CSS3/SASS. You have experience in automated testing and cloud engineering.
- You have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js etc.
- You can design, build, operate and scale Microservices and web applications
- You are looking to grow in your craft by picking up new technologies when the opportunity presents itself
- You care about getting the job done: from alignment with stakeholders, technical design, the code, build pipeline to the infrastructure
- You are a proactive and pragmatic person that thinks in solutions. You are comfortable with the freedom to propose solutions and research new technologies
- Caring for your team and having fun in your job is of high priority to you. You enjoy working with other developers and non-techies to create great products

A day in the life
In the morning you will join the team’s standup session where you give an update on your work. Your colleague is working on a particularly challenging task and asks for your input, so you will join forces and help them out. After this you work on your current ticket, adding a new functionality by writing clean and clear code. When you are done you open a Pull Request and ask for your peers to review your work. In the meantime, you join a meeting with the product owner and internal stakeholders to gather requirements on an upcoming project. You check your PR: it is approved! You deploy your code and move on to the next challenge.

We are working in a hybrid environment and this role is based in our Barcelona office, situated in a WeWork by Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, a hub for technology and innovation.
