Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Digital Learning Specialist to be located within the Engineering Training department. Within this job role, you will be responsible for maintaining Ryanair’s Learning Management System for 3000+ staff.
The person will be responsible for ensuring the Training department:
- Maintain LMS system for continual use by end users
- Create, author and upload new and existing training content on LMS
- Be a Super User for LMS system
- Troubleshoot and liaise with IT teams on ongoing projects and development
- Manage training plans and record keeping where required by the team
- Responsible for maintaining the helpdesk and ensuring all tickets are dealt with in a satisfactory manner
- All other duties where required by the management team
Requirements
We are looking for someone to join our team that has strong LMS experience. We want the successful candidate to be meticulous, have a keen eye to detail and provide new ideas to the training team You must also be a great communicator as you will be working with different nationalities, diversities and ages! The below details the requirements further:
- Degree or appropriate qualification related to IT,
- Previous experience in working with an LMS system (Totara, Blackboard etc.)
- Previous experience using iSpring, Articulate or Abode Captivate
- A keen eye to detail and ability to escalate issues to the management team
- Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365
- Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to face, virtual)
- Applicants must be open minded, eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team
- Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must hold a valid EU passport and happy to travel where the business requires.
- Must hold a valid EU Driving Licence
