Crowd Media is building AI-powered "Talking Heads" which is revolutionizing the current standard of text-only chatbot by offering a fully immersive experience for customers across sight, sound and interconnectivity for commercial applications. For a special project, focused on video generation and digital human synthetic media, used for conversational commerce endeavors we are looking for a senior software engineer to join our growing team and ambitious journey.

Your responsibilities:

Create a technology plan and engineering culture aligned with customer needs and business goals.

• Lead and support team of engineers and developers
• Develop a technology plan and roadmap as part of our quarterly OKRs and annual planning to deliver transformative customer experiences and achieve our business objectives
• Working closely with Tech lead and PM; plan and release product roadmap features alongside supporting internal requirements for engineering
• Planning scalable architecture to support quality product experiences, fast growth and revenue
• Build technology and maintain a technology architecture that’s scalable, being the ultimate decision maker on our technology stack
  
  Our technology stack:

• AWS EC2 for development and app serving
• Backend: FastAPI, NodeJS
• Frontend: Svelte and React
• Docker to containerize
• AI/ML: Python, Pytorch, TensorFlo

Requirements

• You’re hands on but also willing to lead a team (you have team management or team lead experience)
• You are interested in building, inspiring and motivating a dedicated and high-performing team
• Hands-on experience with our technology stack
• You understand how to attract, interview, test and win the best technology talent both co-located and remote
• You are interested in improving the processes of an engineering organization
• You’re an experienced engineer
• You’re experienced in software development, ideally in a fast-growth / startup environment.

Desired:

• Excitement for building scalable systems
• You are excited about API’s, developer tools and creating great customer experiences.
• You are excited about machine learning and related technologies
• You have interest in image processing, video synthesis, deepfake, 3D or game design
• A public repository (github, bitbucket) where we can see some of your work
