About the team

The People team handles the full employee lifecycle we provide support, tools and resources for BMATers to face their challenges well-equipped. We build our teams with the best talent out there. We share a vision, values and the BMAT touch.

People Onboarding amp; payroll Specialist responsibilities include coordination of everything required for new hires before their start date, gathering necessary paperwork and scheduling first days. You will organise and facilitate BMAT’s onboarding procedures for new hires.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes (conducting all intro sessions and termination meetings).
  • Administrative tasks related to on-boarding and off-boarding: Contracts, amendments, change of conditions, NDAs and any employee related documents needed during their employment.
  • Coordinate with finance and external vendors (at international level) to ensure the timely and correct transfer of data for payroll preparation and the contact person for payroll.
  • Deal with freelancers across the different parts of the world and in several platforms (ensure right payments, NDAs and other administrative documentation).
  • Manage Mamp;As paperwork when required in coordination with the People and Finance team.
  • Understand and support new employees in legal entities accross the globe.
  • Compliance for Health and Safety and Data Protection legislation.
  • Manage FUNDAE credit for training in Spain.
  • Support the implementation of the equity plan globally.
  • Keep employee data records updated.
  • Deal with Social Security, payroll and benefit queries and together with providers across the different locations with several vendors.
  • Conduct audits to ensure that employee files have all necessary documents for local compliance purposes and maintain employee files with all updated employee data.
  • Administer and implement benefit plans (Private Health insurance, gym benefits, meal vouchers, transport vouchers and childcare vouchers, among others).
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations concerning all aspects of employment in the corresponding scope.
  • Keep abreast of all relevant labor laws and industry practices in the locations with an office and / or employees.
  • Dealing with laboral risk prevention tasks coordination.


Expectations

After 15 days

  • Start establishing relations with vendors, providers and colleagues internally

After 30 days

  • Run payroll multicountry for the first time
  • Participate in all onboarding sessions
  • Have full ownership of your processes and procedures

After 60 days

  • Be able to make improvements in the onboarding process
  • Streamline the current administrative processes
  • Make the role your own, fully understand the BMAT touch
