We are looking for a new Head of Educational Solutions to drive the development of our flagship product proposition. Reporting to the Global Head of Product, this is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and innovative Product Leader to take ownership of this expanding part of our product suite, within a unique, ‘work from anywhere’ role that will offer you fantastic challenges and opportunities to make an impact on a global scale.
What your new team and job look like
The Educational Solutions team is dedicated to designing, building and maintaining the world’s leading LMS used by millions of users in some of the largest and most respected educational institutions in the world. This role will guide the success of the LMS product proposition by ensuring its commercial viability and having full ownership of the development lifecycle for this product.
At Moodle no 2 days will ever be the same, but most days in this role usually involve a mix of:
- Set the roadmap and prioritise creating what matters most to achieve the strategic goals for the product.
- Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical delivery activities.
- Using agile methodologies, plan release deliveries, including management of the commercial aspects of releasing to market.
- Prioritise features amp; enhancements, working closely with our designers amp; developers on the specifications for each.
- Engaging with our community, customers, partners and the broader market to identify trends, industry challenges and problems that need solving.
- Lead, develop and motivate team members, promoting a positive and constructive team culture in line with Moodle’s values

Requirements
We'd love to meet you
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
- Demonstrated leadership and product management experience with complex products
- Experience in Education and EdTech industries, and a deep understanding of the Education sector customer/users
- Proven ability to motivate team members with influence to accomplish goals
- Exceptional problem solving, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to use industry knowledge, trends and data to predict future challenges and drive product growth
- Ability to engage with and manage senior stakeholders across diverse business portfolios
- Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones
