What you'll be doing
The Legal team manages all legal and juridical matters inside BMAT to enable the growth of the company in a safe and fair environment and with a long-term perspective. We cooperate with all the other teams and provide them with support and advice. We build our teams with the best talent out there. We share a vision, values and the BMAT touch.
As Legal amp; Business Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for handling contract drafting, negotiation and execution. You will also be a point of reference for the other people for any kind of juridical matter inside BMAT.
Requirements
All about youKey Responsibilities- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements with clients and suppliers
- Organizing contracts’ execution
- Managing the contracts' database
- Cooperating with BMAT’s external advisors in the management of Industrial Property and GDPR matters
Essential skills
- Master’s degree in Law or related courses
- High level of English and Spanish
- 3 years of previous experience in international contract management (either in a firm or as an in-house lawyer)
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good planning and organizational skills
Desirable skills
- Another language between French, German, Chinese or Japanese
- Previous experience in the music industry
- Previous experience with intellectual property or tech law
- Previous experience with privacy law
Expectations
15 days
- Ability to use the team’s tools (Drive, Jira, Basecamp)
- Ability to use correctly the contractual templates
- Ability to handle autonomously smaller issue (NDAs, Content Licences)
30 days
- Ability to handle standard service agreements for which a template already exists
- Good knowledge of the services offered by BMAT and of its position in the industry
- Ability to negotiate directly with clients in most cases
90 days
- Ability to create new contractual templates for new services
- Full autonomy in negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers
- Established contact with the main external firms (worldwide) with which BMAT works
