What You Will Do
Monthly closing:
- To participate within the month-end closing, ensuring the Pamp;L represents the real situation of the business, by reviewing expenses and revenues.
- To support monitoring of performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
- To maintain and consolidate management information including financials and other relevant KPIs.
Forecasting amp; budgeting:
- Support in all tasks and processes related to forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and ad hoc activities.
Reporting:
- Support in management reporting, including but not limited to financial variance analysis, operational statistics, and other financial reports.
- To prepare ad hoc reports and other analyzes per request.
What We’re Looking For
- Finishing administration degree / Finance degree.
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Analytical skills desired.
- Proactive and flexible.
- Advanced level of English is a must.
- Team spirit. Good communication and cooperation skills in international environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees, but we believe in the power of getting together regularly in our office. As a first iteration, we expect a 4+ day/month office attendance for which the specifics are decided on a team level.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? **Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**
Intro Call - ran by talent acquisition. It will take 30-45 minutes and will focus on giving you more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience and expectations.
Practical interview - ran by the hiring manager. The focus will be on assessing your ability to apply your skillset to the Wallapop context.
Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
