What do we do?
ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time even when it’s cloudy or dark providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.
What are we looking for?
Our innovative and growing company is hiring a Supply Chain Intern at Iceye Spain office in Jumilla. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
Tasks
- Process purchasing requests into purchase orders, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal customers, from order placement to receipt, to ensure schedules are met
- Monitoring inventory and preparing orders to refill stock
- Forecasting future inventory requirements
- Help with inbound/outbound logistics functions
- Support Logistics team with general duties of planning, scheduling, and purchasing inventory
- Assist in the organization and analysis of RFQ’s for logistics amp; transportation services
- Support and act as backup for other team members in their tasks
- Participate in supplier and internal team meetings
- Controlling flows of equipment and supplies
- Reporting to management and advising on process improvements
- Supporting the ERP implementation
- Managing data in ERP after implementation
Requirements
- Pursuing or already having a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Materials/Logistics (or equivalent), Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be self-motivated and professional
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people and cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken)
