The Team
The Infosys Consulting Life Sciences vertical focuses on advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices companies on continuously rethinking transformation along the value chain to meet contemporary business needs. We drive innovation both through process reengineering and the implementation of best-in-class solutions to a number of high-profile Pharmaceutical clients.
Our life sciences team encompasses some of the industry`s brightest experts who possess a broad set of rich experiences in helping top organizations transform their operations and deliver shareholder value. They are engaged in a number of strategic and operational programs across the top life sciences organizations.
The Life Science practice is successfully embedded within the entire Infosys Group, which enables IC to sell and deliver large scale transformation programs with a specific focus on SAP and S/4 HANA in a pull-through collaboration with delivery capacities on-shore and offshore. We drive innovation by rethinking processes in Ramp;D/Clinical Development, Regulatory/Safety, Commercial, Global Supply Chain and Value amp; Access leveraging digital technologies in Data amp; Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, IOT enabled monitoring, virtual trials and RPA.
The Role
Oversee critical business processes end-to-end and drive critical (cross-functional) integration decisions, focusing on business perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Active participation in business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Lead the cross-functional alignment of challenging business transformation programs in the Life Sciences industry.
- Responsible for end-to-end (E2E) functional/ process consistency and harmonization; ensures E2E processes and other project elements will be integrated seamless across all functional work streams, systems, projects, organizations and between business and IT.
- Drive decision-making and force integrative topics to be resolved across different areas.
- Proactively manage, monitor, and report on the identification, impact, dependencies, risks, mitigations and implementation status of business integration topics and areas for improvement; and own the resolution of cross-work stream issues.
- Support program PMO in project planning and project tasks as needed with special focus on cross-functional interdependencies.
- Provide guidance to functional work stream leads.
- Ensure that cross-functional design decisions follow the defined solution governance processes and standards.
- Enforce the global Template approach and Template governance (process consistency, harmonization, and standardization).
- Aligns with other cross-functional work streams on integration topics owned in their work streams: e.g. master data management, reporting amp; analytics, Training (OCM), testing; to orchestrate the E2E view.
- Drive business integration through among and between core business work streams and rollout teams.
- Maintain a master list of the global Template E2E business scenarios including touch points and local variants.
- Support planning amp; controlling of cutover.
- Support planning amp; controlling of data migration.
- Ensure a well-structured and defined programmed and project delivery framework - delivering business integration to time, cost, and quality and within budget.
