About the project:
The software inside a vehicle was traditionally expected to be a very controlled and self-contained environment. Equipping cars with perception and machine intelligence changes a lot in the overall picture of the vehicle manufacturer. The company's goal is to empower our customers, with deep domain knowledge and smart solutions, to develop cars of the future. Great mechanical engineering is not the only criteria anymore for delivering the best cars in the world. Using state-of-the-art software technologies is key to providing the requested user experience.
For the development of the next generation of premium vehicles, we are looking for experienced Test Engineers. Challenge yourself and join the team of enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineers and work on an entire functional area of a car, all part of vital in-car applications utilized in future vehicles of renowned German automotive manufacturers worldwide.Work on features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads, focusing on one of the following areas:
- HMI amp; UX
- Body Control amp; Comfort functions
- Connected Vehicle amp; Cloud Solutions
- ADAS / Autonomous Driving
- Simulation amp; virtual ECU
- Sensor Calibration amp; Sensor Data Validation
Responsibilities:
As a Test Engineer, you will contribute to the verification and validation of software and the systems being developed, contributing also to Test Automation.You will be working within a development team in one of those areas (depending on skill focus):
- feature test on system level
- software test
- test automation
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering or similar qualification
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally along with agile principles
- Experience with Java and Python
- Open to learn new tech and adjust to new ways of working
- Good communication skills in English (writing amp; speaking) along with team spirit
- Self-organized and diligent
- Enthusiasm for automotive
- 3+ years of experience in at least 3 of the following areas:
- Software Test
- DevOps
- Test Automation
- Test Management
Nice to have:
- Experience within Banking, Fintech, Telecommunication
