We're looking for an Educational Technology Trainer based in Spain to work remotely for Edpuzzle, a leading edtech company trusted by over 80% of schools in the USA and millions of teachers and students across the globe, with HQs in San Francisco and Barcelona and a team that’s growing around the globe!


How will you work?

The right person will be a teacher or edtech coach that would help us create and facilitate training within the International and IB schools in the EMEA region. Edtech trainers are also involved in social media, live events, certifications, and attending conferences (community projects). The role requires expertise with International Schools, IB Schools schools, and curriculum with technology integration. The goal of the Educational Technology Trainer EMEA is to focus on International Schools and IB school projects, develop training, support material creation, and coordinate and lead training for staff including teachers, tech coaches, and curriculum coordinators throughout targeted schools; as well as support the Community team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct instruction of standards-based lessons to specialists and educators, and facilitate implementation of school-wide technology projects.
  • Work with other specialists to design training for new and continuing teachers in the use of technology integration that supports instruction.
  • Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and tutorials for International Schools and support programs based in the EMEA region.
  • Assist level and building level specialists, teachers, administrators, and other school staff as necessary to understand content area needs, innovations, strategies, etc.
  • Participate in online and offline events representing Edpuzzle across the EMEA region.
  • Support the Community team’s projects: conferences, social media, certifications, live events.
  • Participate and involve yourself in the Edpuzzle community.


A typical week
  • Coordinate with account executives and Edpuzzle team members to deliver excellent training sessions with IT coaches, curriculum leaders, or school administrators within the assigned schools and international schools and groups of schools.
  • Develop, coordinate, and customize training materials for each assigned school.
  • Coordinate and lead remote training sessions with elementary, middle, and high school teachers.
  • Support the Community team.
  • Create connections with teachers and actively engage with Edpuzzle’s community.
  • Attend and speak at conferences.
  • Work alongside the global Community team to facilitate live events and training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
About remote positions:
  • Work remotely from the comfort of your own home or chosen workspace.
  • Receive guidance from your manager amp; ask all the questions you need.
  • Meet with your manager on a weekly basis to review status amp; brainstorm new projects to accomplish goals.

Requirements

About you
  • You have a passion for Edpuzzle.
  • You have experience using and presenting about Edpuzzle.
  • You are comfortable leading presentations in English.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to new strategies.
  • You have a clear passion for training other educators.
  • You are unintimidated by new technology and quick to pick up new skills.
  • You are based and are legally eligible to work in Spain.

Requirements
  • More than 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
  • More than 3 years of successful experience presenting in conferences and leading school professional development sessions, as well as experience creating video tutorials and engaging content for teachers.
  • Extensive experience with International and IB schools.
  • Your oral and written skills in English are at a professional level of mastery.
  • Excellent communication skills: email, phone amp; face-to-face conversations.
  • Be resourceful: You know how to keep pressing forward with organizing events/webinars for teachers.
