We are inviting applications for an Accounting Clerk to join our newly-formed CS Finance team. The purpose of this position is to assist in the smooth running of Ryanair operations. The successful candidate will be hard-working, energetic, self-motivated with a natural ability for problem solving.

The role

At Ryanair, we are currently recruiting for an organised, efficient Accounting Clerk with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy to support the CS Finance team with reporting, invoicing and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all invoices are received in a timely manner for month-end processing.
  • Verify of invoices received and resolving anomalies.
  • Obtain invoice approvals from authorised personal before passing invoices to accounts payable team.
  • Assist with EU261 and other monthly accruals by compiling the reports received from external lawyers and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with reconciliations, audit and reporting.
  • Handle communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Skills/Experience Required:

  • High school diploma with work experience in an accounts department.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • High level of accuracy and ethical behaviour when dealing with sensitive financial information.
  • Ability to multitask, deal with tight legal deadlines and high volumes.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numerate and comfortable working with data.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, is vital.
