FinOps Manager

Toqio (toq.io) enables any business to create game-changing, data-driven finance propositions that can be rapidly deployed to our customers where and when they need it.

We are currently looking for a FinOps Manager to lead our day-to-day finance operations; support strategic amp; commercial finance projects; and continue building our overall finance function and capabilities.

As FinOps Manager you will:

• Execute and oversee Toqio’s day-to-day accounting activities, incl. bank account reconciliations, customer invoices amp; company expenses management.
• Full production of Monthly Management Accounts to include Pamp;L and Balance Sheet (with supporting schedules)
• Work hand-in-hand with external accounting partners on a variety of topics incl. ensuring the quality of our monthly statements and producing accurate year end accounts.
• Be the first point of contact for yearly Audits.
• Play a crucial role working with the Commercial function to grow and ensure the quality of our top line - incl. helping to step up our invoicing and billing operations.
• Support the Finance Lead and CFO to bring our finance capabilities to the next level - by identifying priority areas, aligning on action plans, and driving projects with the appropriate level of independence

Requirements

Experience required:

• 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance department. This position is a good opportunity for a Accounts Payables / Receivables Analyst or an Assistant Accountant that is looking for the next step in their career.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Pamp;L, balance sheet and cash flow preparation and projection

Must have skills:

• We are looking for a highly-proactive, quick learner with an entrepreneurial mindset and a go-getter attitude - eager to grow and be challenged every day.
• A strong desire to drive process improvements.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Outstanding planning, organisational, and time management skills
• Spanish GAAP

Nice to have:

• Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Knowledge of UK and Spanish regulation and tax system
• Part qualified accountant looking to further their studies (CIMA / ACCA)

  • Salary proposal for FinOps Manager: 35000 to 45000 gross annual base base salary depending on the candidate’s knowledge and experience
