Corporate Business Development and Licensing Manager

Job Purpose:

Leading Business Development amp; Licensing projects and Alliance Management activities with strategic Neuraxpharm partners at corporate level.

Responsible for the identification and development of new business opportunities for Neuraxpharm with the aim of turning opportunities into portfolio products.

Responsible for maximizing the network of relations with other companies in the pharmaceutical sector Worldwide.

Being his/her major accountabilities:

  • Prospection of potential business opportunities for the group.
  • Leading the process from the initial contact with the counterpart until the product is launched by the commercial team. Managing and coordinating the BD project in the different phases from the negotiation until the alliance implementation.
  • Negotiate with external counterparts to execute agreements in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring of the timelines established in the agreement to guarantee the accomplishment of the agreed terms.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the different departments of the company (Corporate Marketing, Corporate Medical, Scientific/Innovation, Portfolio/Pipeline, IP, Regulatory Affairs, Supply)
  • Represent the company in the different forums and events related with Business Development.
  • Grow the corporate portfolio of products through identification, negotiation and closing of cooperation agreements specific focus on innovation.
  • Manage the relationship with strategic partners by ensuring compliance with agreed terms both inside and outside the Neuraxpharm organization.

Requirements

  • 7 years in Business Development positions in-licensing in pharma sector
  • Scientific background with an experience in dealing with innovative pharmaceuticals (NCEs, Orphan drugs and/or Value-Added Medicines) is desirable, preferred in the field of CNS.
  • RA, Marketing and Sales experience is valued
  • Experience in Identifying Business opportunities
  • Fluent Business English (oral/written)
