The Challenge
The Lamp;D Manager will work with multiple stakeholders to own, define and manage the Training requirements across all the business units including soft skills, leadership, and hard skills as well as other innovative programs aimed at building a world-class team (mentoring program, aligned with trainers, knowledge-sharing initiatives, etc.).
What You Will Do
- Conduct training needs analysis and creates content with rollout plan to reduce identified knowledge gaps.
- Be responsible for all the logistics, negotiations with providers, and administration tasks.
- This person will ultimately be building their own team and will manage a couple of direct reports so we are ideally looking for a hands-on person looking to grow into a people manager figure.
- Build a vision for a dedicated Lamp;D team at Wallapop.
- Own the Lamp;D reporting piece serving as a base for all recommendations ad a gauge of Lamp;D quality delivery.
- Define and implement best practices to evaluate training effectiveness up to and including business impact and ROI.
- Build on existing Lamp;D foundations and develop a fully-fledged Lamp;D function. Evolution possibilities: build an Lamp;D team; define the future of Lamp;D at Wallapop - key strategic decision for this area.
- Determine structure to scale tooling, we don't have a learning management system and this person will be key.

What We’re Looking for:
- Experience as a Learning amp; Development Manager or Lead within a fast-growing and dynamic tech company A highly strategic Lamp;D professional able to keep an eye on the detail while focusing on overall vision.
- A creative problem solver, action orientated, and resourceful Can prioritize effectively - leading on multiple project workstreams concurrently and independently.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; strong communication.
- Solid business acumen to be able to effectively partner with and influence stakeholders across the company.
- Excellent abilities in organization, coordination, and project management. Takes personal accountability for quality and accuracy of their work Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Proactive and positive attitude, self-organized, and an excellent team player. Communicative and empathic with stakeholders Agile and innovative with the tenacity to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking Quality-driven, attention to detail, and pragmatic.
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees, but we believe in the power of getting together regularly in our office. As a first iteration, we expect a 4+ day/month office attendance for which the specifics are decided on a team level.
