Montreal Associates is a growing Tech recruitment firm with an established track record of servicing the IT needs of our clients from our London and Barcelona locations.

As part of our continued growth we’re excited to find ourselves in need of a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Barcelona office team. You have an established track record of recruiting IT consultants, and maintaining relationship with existing clients on the French Tech Market.

You will inherit a warm/hot desk with some high-profile clients!

Requirements

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Recruitment Consultantto help us meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by delivering talent to new and existing clients.

The post holder will be:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s client base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new opportunities and competition status
  • Sourcing, managing and interviewing candidates over the telephone and via email
  • Matching candidates with the clients’ needs and delegating to your recruiters when needed
  • Develop your vertical market knowledge
  • Building a specialist network of high calibre candidates
  • Organising and managing interviews
  • Following up on each placement
  • Conduct intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria for candidates
  • Publish job ads on careers pages, job boards and social media
  • Source and contact passive candidates online (e.g. via LinkedIn)
  • Network with candidates offline during job fairs
  • Screen resumes and job applications
  • Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires
  • Update clients on hiring status (e.g. number of screened candidates)
  • Prepare candidates before interviews with clients
  • Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
  • Keep detailed records of past applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain good relationships with them


Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Successful previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant
  • Native French with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A successful track record as an agency recruiter within the tech market
  • Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • An personal drive for working towards targets and goals
  • A confident and out-going personality with strong influencing skills
  • High levels of self-motivation and excellent customer service skills
  • An entrepreneurial and accountable individual
  • Committed to continuous learning through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
