We are looking for an Engineer with a passion for troubleshooting IoT devices and who would like to progress their career by working on the latest EV Charging technologies.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly agile and collaborative team where you will focus on troubleshooting Software Connectivity issues from our Chargers to our Mobile applications.
You will be Lab based and working with technologies such as Power Electronics, Bluetooth, Wifi, Python and more.
If you are naturally curious and enjoy working in a skilled multi-disciplinary team, with the autonomy to take devices apart, investigate root causes and analyse issues, then this could be the role for you!
What will you be doing?
You will be working with our award winning Smart EV Chargers range in order to replicate Software and Connectivity issues reported, and trying to understand why and what is going wrong.
As a L3 Service Engineer your tasks will be:
- Provide technical support and guidance to L1/L2 Teams
- Troubleshoot, test and understand issues within our Chargers
- Work with Ramp;D teams to fix issues reported
- Work with Project Managers to assist in the rollout of new features and functionalities
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Engineering background - Electronic Devices, IoT, Telecommunications, Software etc
- Understanding of Device Connectivity methods such as: Bluetooth, Wifi, GSM etc
- Some experience or understanding of Object Oriented Programming, ideally Python
- Experience in Servicing / Testing / Troubleshooting of Electronics or IoT devices
- Proficient in English
