Solution Engineer

We are currently looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Sales team and help us promote and spread the product.

• You will be a pioneer in unleashing the power of the Toqio platform to our Customers and partners! Natural curiosity, a techy mind and contagious energy should be at the heart of what drives your ability to deliver world class demo's and technical meetings!
• Whilst you don't have to be a hardcore coder, you should be curious to get under the hood and see how it all technically works! Break it till you make it!
• Love the idea of working with the internal business functions! Staying up to date with the latest builds from Product, jumping in and trialing Beta features and creating the feedback loop between customers and internal teams!
• Excited by the thought of being a Trusted Business Advisor to our customers, both on meetings and out in the real world at events and meetups.
• Keen to help customers evaluate Toqio from a technical standpoint, through demo's, proof concepts and hackathons.
• Be thrilled to present at the top Fintech conferences and events whether its in an intimate handful of people on a stand or standing on stage in front of hundreds!

Requirements

As a Solution Engineer you will:

• Technically proficient whether it’s an initial product evaluation, product demonstration, or addressing technical pain points.
• Willing to listen, ask the right questions and take the time to provide deep explanations and find solutions where needed.
• Respond promptly to customer questions with technical explanations of product features and capabilities.
• Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating the TOQIO differentiators.
• Qualify on a technical basis any technical proposal being put forward.
• Serve as a technical coach to your colleagues in sales, professional services, product management and engineering.
• Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
• Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including proof of concepts.

Experience required:

• 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales consulting role with real life experience of working with fintech solutions.
• Knowledge of other enterprise software solutions, ideally using fintech solutions.
• Excellent written communication skills, experience of preparing proposals.
• Proven experience of managing proof of concept activities on customer premises.
• Ability to communicate a technical message with business relevance to a non-technical audience as well as a technical audience.
• Excellent presentation abilities and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.
• Ability to work as part of a virtual team in delivering a proposal.
• Very strong technical and business awareness.
• Industry sector knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English fluently.
