ASW seeks a part time Membership Services Associate, working remotely and on a consultant contract to manage a diverse, international community and provide personalized, top quality customer service to current and prospective members.
Main Responsibilities
- Reply to support request emails efficiently, in a courteous and friendly manner
- Attempt to reproduce technical or user issues in order to be able to provide the best solution
- Work with proactively within a team dispersed around the world: maintain constant communication so colleagues are on the same page
- Monitor member-added content to ensure curated, quality content without attacks, inflammatory remarks or trolling
- Oversee member behavior: we expect real world etiquette to be observed
- Go the extra mile to help members where possible
Requirements
The ideal candidate comes with
- BSc or BA degree in the field of Communication/Marketing/Business Administration or a related field
- Professional manner and ability to use sound business judgment
- Excellent written communication and time management skills
- Native or near-native knowledge of English (spoken and written); German or any other language will be an advantage
- Strong client-facing skills
- Ideally with proven working experience (or strong interest) in the field of membership/customer service
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to identify and use resources to improve overall operations
- Willingness and openness for self-development
- Familiarity with all current social media and online marketing
- Comfortable level navigating websites and smartphone apps
- Strong sense of empathy and ability to put oneself in the member’s shoes
- Ethical responsibility with regards to private data
- Ability and willingness to occasionally work after hours/on the weekends if needed
