The role:
We are looking for a Plant Controller amp; Business Partner to work in our Barcelona/Sant Andreu factory.
As a Plant Controller amp; Business Partner, you will monitor the factory’s operational activities, monitor and report on gross margin and operational budget and manage overall accuracy of transactions related to the manufacturing facility to assure accuracy of financial reporting of the plant’s activities. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Furthermore, we require a candidate used to report to HQ in a timely manner, and be proactive and curious about learning new skills everyday.
Your main tasks among others will be:
- General oversight of Pamp;L, Balance Sheet amp; Cash Flow activity and report to HQ
- Generating key financial insights and reports
- Overall inventory accuracy (cost and counts)
- Leadership role for annual physical counts
- Reviews and control BOM accuracy
- Operational transactional integrity and accuracy Operational/Finance partner
- Cost accounting program including purchase price variance, job cost variance reviews - corrective action
- Assist in budgetary control for entity
- Margin analysis in monthly reporting
- Help in creating finance processes
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Plant Controller or similar role
- 3+ years of overall combined experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with gross margin analysis or knowledge surrounding calculation
- Konowledge in accounting software user and administration skills
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Hands-on and can-do attitude, ready to grow with our company
- Teamwork player
- Comfortable with a high paced, dynamic environment in an international company
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and used to work cross-departmental
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- High level of English
