What does the role of a Project Manager do?
- Work with an amazing team of legal-, tech-, security-, product managers, software engineers, and IT support staff to deliver mission-critical projects, acting as a liaison between them.
- Build and prioritize backlog for the compliance- and security-related projects.
- Run meetings, identify action items, and address blockers to keep projects on track.
- Creating or facilitating the creation of user stories and other lean documentation when necessary.
- Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Support development of the gap analysis tools amp; compliance guidelines necessary for a client to achieve compliance concerning medical technology.
- Design and develop the compliance monitoring management database (documentation and record-keeping)
Requirements
Who are you?
What skills and experiences do we want you to have?
- You have at least three years of experience in IT project management, ideally in the security space.
- You are hands-on, proactive, and persistent.
- You have knowledge and experience in ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOC2 projects.
- You have a working knowledge of project and workstream management tools such as Jira-
- You are capable of taking accountability while providing status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems when necessary.
- You have experience in managing projects with several stakeholders
- You have superior communication skills and a proven ability to manage effectively, influence, negotiate, and communicate with stakeholders and internal teams to meet goals.
- You have excellent written and spoken English to communicate with the international team.
Which skills are ‘bonus points’?
- You understand the technical topics and the skills to translate them for non-technical people.
- You have a piece of knowledge in the topics connected to legal compliance, GDPR, and information security.
- You are comfortable working with SQL and database software.
