Job Description
- Manage several digital brands from wide-ranging categories, ensuring their day-to-day operational and financial success
- Follow the transition effort when we acquire a business. This includes doing a deep dive of all information provided during migration of the seller’s accounts (social media, email software, customer service management, etc.)
- Develop a relationship with the seller to ask questions and conduct an audit of their entire listing and end-to-end customer process
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and suggest new approaches
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales including pricing optimization, promos and deals, advertising (PPC), content, subscribe and save, etc.
- Research programs and tools on Amazon and other ecosystems to increase sales and ensure we’re protecting our brands
- Manage inventory levels and reordering from global suppliers, and implement forecasting methods to prevent shortages
- Ensure successful new product launches, from ordering, stocking, listing and sales
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs by reviewing packaging, fulfillment and warehousing costs, etc.
- Analyze product-level KPIs (sales, conversation rate, page views, costs, etc.), and implement strategies to troubleshoot problems
- Monitor competitor behaviour regarding new products, pricing and content in key marketplaces
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all products, coordinating with our finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
- Resolve any ad-hoc issues relating to the performance of the brand, such as dealing with any product suspension, illegal seller of our products, etc.
- Manage and follow budget guidelines
Requirements
- 3+ years of e-commerce experience, preferably working within the Amazon ecosystem and a private label
- In-depth understanding of marketing and strategy. Metrics-driven marketing mind
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- English amp; German language on native level, other European languages are a big plus
- A highly analytical self-starter who can manage multiple projects and figure out complex problems without a lot of oversight
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through to completion
- Sharp eye for brand innovation to drive new ideas and think outside the box
- Preference for fast-paced and challenging environments.
