What will you do?

At Holaluz we are developing a new strategy team to analyze and decide what will be our next steps to achieve our 2023 goals.

You will be working with top management to provide strategic analysis and insights to drive the strategic planning process.

We expect from you to support high priority and high impact strategic projects. These projects can be technological, operational, etc.: We need a professional who is eager to understand our organizational challenges and provide analysis and ideas on how to overcome them.

Plus, we expect from you to develop deep customer, industry, market and competitive insights and present them to the strategy committee to discern what projects should Holaluz be doing next.

We also expect from you to contribute to the development of presentations, materials, and other strategy-related documents to be shared both internally and externally.

And #SayThingsAsTheyAre is one of our values, we want to be clear and transparent in explaining what you will do during your first 6 months at Holaluz.


In 1 month:

  • You will have done One2One with the people on your team and understood their needs, fears, objectives... as well as their interests and motivations.
  • You will have participated in meetings with other Engineering Managers to share tools, doubts, advice, etc.
  • You will have gone to have lunch some day with the people of your team, you will have attended a Tech Show and Tell (weekly internal event to flow knowledge).
  • Identify your main stakeholders, meet them and get feedback from them.
  • Be able to understand what metrics and KPIs we follow and why.
  • Understand what are the current ongoing projects and main issues to solve.


In 3 months:

  • Be able to analyze a project in an autonomous way, asking for help when needed.
  • Be responsible for the ongoing projects and provide guidance to assure the successful execution.
  • You will have identified what are the main improvement points and defined a plan to develop them. Implementing some quick wins.
  • Collaborate and participate with the team to present these projects.
  • You will start communicating the status of the projects, performance KPIs and user satisfaction.
  • You will have done periodical 1o1s with your manager to know how you feel in your first months in Holaluz.
  • Keep making periodical 1o1s with your team and stakeholders.

In 6 months:

  • You will have (almost) everything under control and you will have contributed to the maturity and growth of your team.
  • You will have identified what are the main improvements points and defined a plan to develop them.
  • You will be 100% owner of the budget of your team.
  • You will provide continuous communication about the performance of the services you deliver.
  • You will be responsible for defining your team’s OKRs.
  • You will have done teambuilding with your team and be sure your team is happy with your vision
