The PAC Group is seeking Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection (MEPF) specialist with 5-8+ years’ related experience in dealing with MEPF design, problem-solving and stakeholder coordination/communication/documentation. Project sites are located throughout Europe, but mainly remote working from your own base location is anticipated.

Requirements

PAC is a professional engineering services provider working with a variety of clients throughout the world. In this role, candidate will join our Facilities and Building Systems Engineering team to support various client projects.

• Experience in facilities systems design review and issues management for non-production facilities.
• Knowledgeable in Project Management tools and techniques.
• Ability to communicate very effectively and efficiently with multiple project stakeholders.
• Ability to develop, maintain and produce reports quickly and accurately using established reporting templates in Excel.
• Experienced in design change tracking and management.
• Able to work independently on a professional level.

Requirements

The role will involve participation in facility/building systems design reviews including revisions to drawings, identifying potential issues and communicating them to project stakeholders, fielding questions and dealing with issues raised, project progress reporting, assessment of new design change requests, communication with cost estimators, participation in standing calls with project team stakeholders, dealing with Requests for Information, proficiency in completing reports using Excel-based templates.

This role requires excellent cross-functional communication abilities to ensure alignment between project stakeholders.

In addition to great interpersonal skills, the candidate will also possess -

• Proficiency with the full suite of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Outlook.
• Minimum Bachelor degree from related discipline(s) or equivalent experience and 5-8+ years related experience.
• Applicable mechanical or electrical, plumbing, fire protection background.

Prequalification:

• Candidates should have prior work experience in facilities design and review.
• Shall be able to travel periodically to client sites throughout Europe, but regularly be a remotely working professional.
• Ability to start this role within 4-6 weeks or sooner.
• Fluency in English for business purposes.
