The Mission:
Ensure the highest quality, best cost and shortest lead time of our current and new products dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Assess possible risks in production and resolve the problems faced identifying the correct root causes.
Outcomes:
Lead and manage activities to achieve and improve Operational Efficiency, Cost Management and Customer Service Levels.
- Quality: Ensure quality of product supply and deliver KPIs
- Costs: Achieve cost savings according to budget
- Service: Achieve SLAs and deliver year on year improvements
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with suppliers to improve production lead times, reduce product and production costs and ensure that the products are consistent with our Quality Management System.
- Collaborate on supply chain procedures, including EMS management, automation, systems integration, and distribution.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner using the right project management tools and process automation in the area of responsibility to improve operational efficiency.
- Align and follow-up NPI (New Product Introduction) activities internally in Supply Chain, working with Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing and Logistics.
- Be the main interface between Operations, Product and Engineering and get involved in the design process with the Engineering team at early stages of the design of new products.
- Handle ECR management along with EMS and suppliers 2 homologation.
- Manage capital fixtures amp; tooling projects from concept and financial justification through to component approval.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations by managing QA to ISO standards with Products amp; EMS Production Processes.
- Implement operational procedures and KPIs.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures, complying with Worldsensing’s and legal regulations
- Help to promote the company culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- At least 3 years experience as a Production leader (or similar) in a similar industry. Automotive sector is a plus.
- Experience in supply chain analysis and optimization.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
