Job Description

For our Estepona office we're looking for a Risk Manager with information security knowledge

Positioned within the 2nd line of defense, the Risk Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Risk and Control Framework of MultiSafepay. The Risk Manager is accountable to the CFO.

You will lead projects to identify Strategic, Information Security, Operational, Credit, and Integrity risks, and drive projects to remediate issues, including technical and process fixes. You will work across MultiSafepay to track remediation, resolve issues, and report progress. Information Security is crucial for MultiSafepay and get special attention from our stakeholers. Therefor knowledge and affinity with category of risks is important. In addition the Risk Manager is responsible for for supervising the annual PCI-DSS audit and maintaining contacts with DNB in the field of risk management.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Risk Manager with Information Security knowledge who:

  • Acts as the central point of contact within MultiSafepay when it comes to all communications dealing with risks and controls with specific attention to information security problems, issues and concerns.
  • Responsible for the optimalisation of the Enterprise Risk Framework, including formulation and implementation of (information) risk management policies and procedures
  • Performs and/or oversees the performance of periodic MultiSafepay risk assessments that identify current and future vulnerabilities within processes and systems of MultiSafepay, determines what level of risk is acceptable to management and identifies the best ways to reduce risks to an acceptable level.
  • Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of the main controls within the critical processes and systems.
  • Develops roadmaps and action plan to address gaps and improve control design, including budgets, status reports and other top management communications intended to improve the status of risk management and specific information security at MultiSafepay.
  • Brings pressing information on risks to top management’s attention so that immediate remedial action can be taken, including emerging risks and trends.
  • Work with other departments to establish a powerful risk-awareness culture. Prepares and executes trainings to make the MultiSafepay staff aware of related policies and procedures and of possible security issues
  • Establish communication and implementation of security standards, policies and procedures as required for PCI-DSS and ISO27001 compliance.
  • Periodically initiates quality measurements studies to determine whether the security function at MultiSafepay B.V operates in a manner consistent with standard industry practices (these include external, internal and application tests).
  • Preparation and periodic testing of the Disaster Recovery plan.

Requirements

What do you bring?

  • 5 years of hands-on risk management experience, with a least one-year experience in an information security manager role.
  • Completed bachelor in a relevant area. Additional education/certificates in risk management/information security and related areas could make the difference (like CISSP and CISM, etc.)
  • Experience within the financial service industry
  • Fluent in English
