General SummaryThe REAL division’s Associate Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of the Commercial/Commercial Ops team that is responsible for analytics across business functions like Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product Usage. This role will partner with business stakeholders and take a persona-based approach to understand the business strategy and build analytical solutions for various types of users. The Associate Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key participant on cross-functional teams, supporting leaders and managers across Penumbra to make informed, data-driven decisions to steer the business appropriately.The role will facilitate cross-functional partnerships by defining metrics, understanding the levers that change those metrics, and developing an action-based decision-making framework with various business leaders.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities•Facilitate data discussions with the REAL team to understand business strategy to craft and build key HR metrics for the business to monitor. *•Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders, make recommendations, and influence teams to take action based on your recommendations on a regular basis.•Observe and document business challenges and present findings and data to leadership teams.*•Partner with Sales team to provide necessary data to inform quarterly compensation/payouts.•Work with large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors.•Build and lead operational dashboards within Salesforce.*•Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.*•Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards and procedures.*•Perform other work-related duties as assigned.*Indicates an essential function of the role
Position QualificationsMinimum education and experience:•Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional qualifications:•Knowledge of Salesforce and BI tools such as Reports/Dashboards as well as develop competency in Tableau•Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint•Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information•Highly analytical in using data and metrics to uncover insights and drive business performance•Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously•Competency in statistical analysis a plus including correlation analysis, linear regressions, market basket analysis, etc.
