We are seeking a Procurement Manager Europe to build out Superpedestrian’s procurement operation in Europe. You will help to support our EMEA operations to enable rapid deployment in new markets through the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services. You will interface with our supply chain, finance, logistics and operations teams, and put in place the structure for a successful, transparent and measurable procurement function.

What you’ll do:-Develop a centralized procurement program for EMEA that adds value and efficiency to the organization-Use your extensive supplier network to identify, assess and qualify a regional supply base including initial vendor identification, down selection through RFQ processes, and drive cost out while improving quality and delivery reliability.-Serve as the primary contact in EMEA for all procurement-related questions and maintain alignment across all EMEA teams.-Oversee contract development and administration for EMEA sources-Process purchase orders; develop bids and proposals; and reconcile any invoice discrepancies-Review product selections, evaluate supplier quotations, and validate compliance to engineering specifications in order to select the solutions that bring the most commercial value.
What we’re looking for:-Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or equivalent experience is a must-Minimum of 5 years work experience in Commodity/Category Management, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing within a global organization-Solid analytical and computer skills, especially in excel-Fluent English (both spoken and written), Dutch language skills is a plus-Experience with procurement and building a vendor program-Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with procurement strategy and cost management best practices-Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to effectively work with global suppliers-Able to manage multiple projects under deadline constraints and maintain focus at all times-Experience with a wide range of technologies and projects is a plus-Previous work experience at both small and large companies is a plusSuperpedestrian actively encourages applications from people of all backgrounds.
