The Opportunity
Sunfolding is seeking a Product Management Analyst to accelerate data-driven product strategy and enable sales and product engineering to balance competing factors, resulting in our customers taking solar projects on a smarter path to profitability.
You will be in a position to accelerate your skillset around what motivates business decisions and guides new product innovation, leading to more advanced work in product management, engineering, business, or marketing.
You will build and improve critical internal tools for costing, collect and manage data on competitive intelligence, and develop other future models or predictions to enable informed strategic choices.
This positions will report to VP of Product ManagementIdeal candidate will demonstrate some or all of the following- Strongly detail oriented;
- The ability and desire to organize and clearly present data;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Extra Credit: Experience programming, JavaScript preferred;
Essential Functions Responsibilities- Develop spreadsheet and script-based models used by the company for critical decision making, including product costs, field data, sales opportunities, market trends, and more;
- Document and clearly present results of analysis;
- Collaborate with product and project development teams to automate parts of design and estimate project costs;
- Document and manage developed scripts in Github;
- Run reports and analyze results;
- Based on management guidance, collect and analyze new data from various parts of the organization and outside the organization;
- Specify and manage implementation of functionality in company ERP systems;
Education Experience- A Bachelors in computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics. Other analytical or technical backgrounds may be accepted;
- Experience scripting (Python, JavaScript) with database experience (SQL) a plus.
