Job Description

The Director of Enterprise Applications is the business process and application expert responsible for streamlining business processes, presenting best practices, and partnering with vendors to identify and implement various SaaS applications. Responsible for designing, documenting, and standardizing processes, training business users, and providing functional specifications for implementing and evaluating vendors for SAP amp; SaaS applications. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • ·Participate on project teams to deliver total business solutions. Partner with end users and process owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities, and design and implement solutions for process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • ·Build, manage and coach, a team of program manager for transformational enterprise products, capability, enhancements, and unparalleled partnership.*
  • ·Define and implement business application roadmap.*
  • ·Analyze user needs and understand how they interact with business systems. *
  • ·Represent the knowledge system as subject-matter expert when working on cross-functional projects.*
  • ·Work closely with IT teams and the software vendor to resolve software issues quickly and completely.*
  • ·Develop and maintain content templates for the knowledge system.*
  • ·Create Knowledge Base content that serves internal customers and the IT team.*
  • ·Evaluate and recommend new technologies to further improve user experiences, enterprise integration, performance and scalability, and product qualities and development efficiencies. Research and recommend alternate solutions.*
  • ·Provide status reporting to IT management and business owners.*
  • ·Foster an atmosphere of collaboration within the organization, emphasizing teamwork and professional development.
  • ·Select, manage, train, and develop staff. Establish objectives and assignments and provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and development plans.*
  • · Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.*
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards and procedures.*
Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education and Experience:
  • · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field with 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications primarily SAP in Life Sciences industry
  • Additional qualifications:
  • ·Must have a wide range of SaaS and ERP application experience such as SAP, Salesforce, Anaplan Blackline, along with overall technical and functional understanding for the enterprise system landscape.
  • ·Strong functional knowledge of various business process across enterprise and ability to map it with Business applications features and functionalities.
  • ·Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, and Business Process Improvement methodologies.
  • ·Strong attention to detail, strong individual initiative, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with little supervision to drive completion of projects.
  • ·Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as high ethical standards.
  • ·Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, and Visio skills required.
  • ·Prior experience working at a medical device company is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • General office environment. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Some travel required.
