We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Associate to join us on this adventure - we're growing exponentially every week and you will play a crucial role in our growth and success by managing our ever increasing payroll.


What you’ll do at Getir

  • Maintain payroll information by updating our payroll platform; managing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
  • Play a role in determining key incentive structures
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports by compiling all data required in a timely and detail orientated manner
  • Manage documentation for current and new hires including contracts, legal documentation and personal information
  • Work with an external payroll provider + with internal teams including strategy, people, operations and finance
  • Provide payroll information to employees by answering questions and requests
  • Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Work closely with Operations teams to improve processes and exceed expected targets
  • Support on additional people and operations projects that benefit the wider business

Requirements

  • A solid and meaningful base of payroll experience in Spain - knowledge of Portuguese payroll would be a plus
  • Highly advanced excel skills
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment
  • Knowledge of the Spanish labour system and how to document and respond to payroll queries from members of staff
  • A great analytical thinker who enjoys having autonomy
  • A can-do, will-do attitude - having a solution oriented mindset is key to our ethos
  • Highly adaptable candidate who can switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next
  • Excellent communication skills that will allow you to embed and drive the Getir DNA in the team, along with ensuring all back of the house and operational procedures are adhered to
