In that light, we’re looking for an experienced People Operations Associate to join us on this adventure.


We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented People Operations Associate to join our growing team who will be comfortable in a start-up environment. You will play a crucial role in our growth and success by attracting and identifying the best talent for our open positions around Madrid. We currently have several sites across Madrid and your role will involve sourcing and guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, ensuring all candidates understand our culture and want to be a part of our journey and establishing Getir as an amazing company to work for. You will have the opportunity to work alongside highly motivated and talented teams as you engage with different stakeholders.


What you’ll do at Getir

  • Manage end to end employee life cycle and people processes of our delivery riders and store assistants, including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, grievances and offboarding.
  • Execute sourcing campaigns for our couriers and store assistant positions and engage with talent throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Screen all applications received and follow their progress
  • Manage documentation for current and new hires including contracts, legal documentation and personal information
  • Create new and innovative ways to attract the best people to join Getir by identifying new channels
  • Grow the number of operations roles fast and efficiently
  • Assist with payroll tasks
  • Understand the start-up culture and how to overcome potential recruitment obstacles for certain roles
  • Work closely with Operations teams to improve the processes and exceed expected targets
  • Support on important projects that benefit the wider business.

Requirements

  • You are described as a friendly, energetic and hands-on person - you know how to both manage your team and get involved when it matters
  • You have considerable experience in HR, and you have a decent knowledge of HR management and development, payroll, and the Spanish labour system
  • You have been involved in personnel planning and end-to-end recruitment, a big plus if you have worked in a role with couriers and/or a high turnover of staff
  • You always have an overview even in stressful situations and manage to find the balance between the long-term strategic initiatives and the daily ad-hoc problem solutions.
  • You communicate effectively, inspire your team, support your employees in their career development and are always aware of your role model function.
  • You have native-level Spanish - this will be the most common language in this role) and a high-level of English - enough to communicate with central teams and your colleagues.
