Job Description
Reporting to the Logistics and Purchasing Manager, the incumbent is responsible for continuous availability of defined minimum inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, auxiliary materials, MRO’s or any other component or item with agreed suppliers and service level agreements in order to guarantee a lean operation in the plant.
The main activities and responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring actual supplier lead times, supply size consignments and service levels in order to draw up the supply plan of starting references (raw materials, packaging, mro’s)
Responsible for drawing up a purchase forecast, based on the Master Production Schedule and agreed inventory plan, in consultation with the Buyer.
Responsible for the timely and completely running and monitoring the Materials Reequipment Planning (MRP).
Responsible for monitoring timely and complete conversion of the MRP output and manual calculation output to purchase requisitions, including the call off orders to be sent to the qualified and agreed upon suppliers based on the deployed Frame-Work Agreements.
Responsible for checking material and product availability in order to guarantee the fulfilment of inventory levels and securing constant supply availability for production and maintenance, plant operation, activities.
Responsible for monitoring of actual versus planned raw material supply plan and propose schedule corrections in consultation with the Buyer.
Responsible for performance analysis based on the performance indicators and targets in the Raw Material Supply Plan.
Responsible for coordinating the detailed supply plan of starting materials at sku level in order to have a lean and workable goods inbound flow.
Take care of proper management reporting of the KPI’s for stock and inventory levels.
Accountable for implementing and realizing the given inventory levels or starting materials.
Creates and updates Purchase Requisitions for warehousing.
