The role
We are looking for a Fleet and Carrier Management Agent to help our Operations team in Barcelona. You would get involved with the following:
- Plan and discuss with the Live Traffic team to ensure customers demand can be adequately covered.
- Plan and assign routes, communicate with our fleet and monitor traffic and shipments from its assignment to its finalization. You will make sure every step is executed following customers specific requirements and that any incident is reported and solved according to our standards, securing the highest level of service possible and respecting the protocols.
- Direct responsibility over quantitative and qualitative KPIs linked to the activity and level of satisfaction of shippers and carriers.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with external partners
- You will have significant autonomy to organize your tasks and processes in order to meet your goals.
- Control of the warehouse, organisation of the warehouse, loading and unloading of vehicles, resolution of incidents
- Daily contact with transport companies and drivers, in order to grow our carrier base, and respond to client demand.
Requirements
- Experienced in logistics/ transportations. Routing and regional + national geography knowledge is a priority.
- At least 1 year of experience in negotiation, process improvement, operations, business analysis, customer retention, and project management.
- Adaptability, knowing how to work under pressure and good time management skills.
- Excellent business judgement and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to quickly establish priorities and develop a strategy to deliver them.
- Experience and mindset in optimizing and automating scaling operational processes.
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with external partners.
- Native/bilingual level spoken and written Spanish, and good English language skills.
