We are looking for an Engagement Manager for our Rider Operations team that will help in delivering excellence within our Rider team. Riders are at the heart of our business - and we believe in nurturing that community. This role is directly responsible for the onboarding of all our riders for Spain and Portugal.
In this role you will:
- Meet the acquisition and onboarding goals defined by the Rider ops Manager and Head of Ops.
- Define bulletproof processes to be compliant with all HR and Admin requirements.
- Build a scalable and solid courier onboarding process and career plan. Remember, we hire our couriers - and we nurture them!
- Ensure that our processes deliver the best candidates to our warehouses team. Our rider team needs to be excellent from day 1.
- Manage a team of Onboarding Associates across several cities to reach our expansion and growth needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years or more of experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience with drivers, riders at scale in a technology company is a must.
- Super analytical - able to use large data sets to extract the relevant information to both identify and resolve issues. Proficiency in Google Sheets is required.
- Strategic - able to ‘think big’ as well as execute ‘on-the-fly’ via understanding the dynamics of our business.
- Effective communicator - able to disseminate ideas in a clear, concise manner to the relevant stakeholders through both verbal and written communication.
- Management experience - able to manage direct report(s) in an effective manner.
