With more than 8 million searches per day and over 15 million users across Spain with a catalogue of several hundreds of millions of products, we exist to empower people to promote a more conscious and human way of consumption. We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition partner to help drive and scale our recruiting efforts. This is a role to focus on the partnership you'll build with the business to ensure delivery. It's a strategy led role, where you'll be in charge of the end-to-end delivery. On the candidate side, you will be on the front lines of representing Wallapop and our values and will successfully demonstrate this by ensuring a positive, high-quality candidate experience. As a member of our talent acquisition team, you realize that every touchpoint is an opportunity to further engage with talent and enhance our employer brand. On the stakeholder side, you will be thoughtful and consultative in your approach, using data to inform your decisions and strengthen your arguments, focusing on providing hiring insights about the market and the quality and calibre of targeted prospects and candidates.


The day to day involves:

  • Engaging and hiring critical profiles across our business departments and become a search expert across these functional areas by understanding hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements. Main profiles to focus on: Marketing, Sales, Operations (CX) and Finance.
  • Owning the hiring process creation and guiding, educating and influencing your internal stakeholders into hiring best practices catering for potential assessment, inclusivity, volume, and scale. You will also own the creation and publication of job advertisements on suitable job portals.
  • Building strong pipelines of digital talents, using traditional and creative channels, while levering community events and our tools. You'll also be expected to maintain an exceptional level of quality in our data entry and use this data analysis in every recruitment decision.
  • Taking part in projects that aim to improve our Candidate Experience, Employer Branding, internal programmes and policies etc.
  • Engaging with passive candidates in English and Spanish and understand their underlying motivations, while providing detailed information on the position requirements and company mission.
  • Advocating for Wallapop’s diversity, equity, and inclusion needs and initiatives.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience as a 360 recruiter for a modern tech company/startup/scaleup (in-house and/ or as a consultant) - we believe a track record of understanding internal needs while catering for hiring at scale is a very relevant exposure to bring into this role.
  • Knowledge of the different digital profiles of our ecosystem.
  • Proven track record sourcing and hiring passive candidates from top companies.
  • The ability to operate in Spanish and English - we don't require you to have a native level in either of them.
