About the role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you’ll be part of a young and dynamic team and be responsible for executing solutions for product development. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Work directly with Team Lead on projects and task prioritization, working procedures and product development.
- Interact with Design and Hardware teams.
- 3D CAD design amp; development.
- Design for manufacturing.
- Fulfillment of product requirements.
- Bring solutions for Design for Manufacturing.
- Drawings for manufacturing taking into consideration all the industry standards. necessary for manufacturing, verification and approval.
- Collaborate with colleagues and/or departments in order to achieve the best solutions.
- Projects approval before manufacturing, from mechanical solution to drawings.
Requirements
- CAD Design - Suraces, solids, 2D Drawing (Solidworks preferred).
- Product Development from Design to SOP. Full developed projects experience required.
- Public or Urban fast charger product mechanical design.
- Manufacturing processes (metal stamping, metal injection molding, machining, plastic injection, machining, plastic welding, lighting).
- Surface protection/ coatings standards for metallic structures in public spaces (high level of exposure to corrosive environment).
- Drawings for manufacturing (assembly tolerance, GDamp;T).
- Experience in design as a Tier 1 supplier. With the following priority: public infrastructure, automotive, railway, aeronautics.
- IP Sealing design.
- Design for assembly.
- Development and design of mechatronic products.
- Curious and problem solver.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a team and share projects.
- Sustainability design mindset.
- Technical English both written and spoken.
