About the role:
The LabVIEW Developer will work in the Automation and Test Solutions team for developing automated test and measurement systems using NI LabVIEW and designing test environments including design or selection of test fixtures, test equipment, and components.
Ultimately, you should coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions assessing and prioritizing feature requests and improving functionality of existing systems.
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
- Strong experience with developing LabVIEW applications,
- Electronic hardware experience (analog, digital, embedded, and mixed signal).
- National Instruments PXI, cRIO, and cDAQ experience.
- Experience developing software in a team environment using version control, build automation, bug tracking, and similar processes/technologies
- Team spirit
- Problem-solved oriented
- Attention to detail and quality
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Agile Development methodologies
- Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or LabVIEW Architect (CLA)
- Familiarity with testing tools
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience with integration of software and hardware in a high voltage or high current environment
- Experience with software programming of safety systems
- Experience with testing of high-power equipment, i.e. motors, power electronics.
- Experience of electric vehicle technology and a passion for EV’s and sustainable energy.
