Worldsensing products have been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for a stand-out Sales Area Manager to join the Product Sales Team in the European region.

With over 1,000 networks deployed worldwide and connecting over 170,000 sensors to the Internet of Things, our Loadsensing product is the leader in the IoT remote monitoring space. The Loadsensing monitoring solution includes best-in-class edge devices, LoRa-based wireless connectivity and a cloud-based connectivity management platform. We also join forces with key industry players to offer software applications and solutions which engineering service providers use to add value to end customers.

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Product Sales Area Manager to increase our presence in some of the main countries and take Loadsensing to the next level in the different verticals.

The Mission: We are seeking a high potential sales profile to join our growing IoT Sales team to support our growth in Europe.

We need a Sales Area manager to increase our current revenue by broadening its horizons and

helping our local partners to increase their business prescribing our solution (HW amp; SW) directly to the different verticals: construction amp; infrastructure amp; rail). While doing so, She/He will ensure to retain the existing customers and help them to the use of Loadsensing solutions.

She/He will ensure the products are made available in the international markets She/He is responsible for by having a clear view of what are the customers’ needs and help the business’ predictability.

Outcomes:

Achievements for the first 3 months:

  1. During the first month, you will be trained by our sales director and you will understand our business model, our vision and our mission.
  2. You will engage with all our current customers / distributors, create a solid relationship, help them to establish a plan for the next year and agree on quarterly commitments.
  3. You will understand your market, identify the big players (distributors and key decision makers) and create a business plan for Q3 and Q4 2021 with the support of your manager.
  4. You will understand our products' ecosystem and will start thinking about how to build Worldsensing’s presence in the different verticals; mines, rail, but specially construction amp; infrastructure.

Achievement for the First Year:

  1. You will have structured your markets, following the actual network of distributors.
  2. Expecting you to multiply the turnover of your area starting from; 1,5
  3. You will know the main decision makers (end customers) of your markets.
  4. You will have to build a value proposition and a go-to-market model for the construction, infrastructure and mining markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different countries (B2B and B2C).
  • Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching customer needs and requirements.
  • Make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing new customers.
  • Ensure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time’ scales.
  • Constantly review the distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to management.

Requirements

  • General business training and you have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position internationally and in the sale of services and equipment
  • Successful business experience in the field of sensors or in any of the Worldsensing sectors: Civil engineering, Mining, Rail, Oil amp; Gas, Environment
  • Engineering degree is a plus
  • Geotechnical and structural monitoring experience would be a real plus
  • Strong geotechnical background will be a strong advantage for this position
  • Full Professional Proficiency in English. German is a plus and Spanish a nice to have
  • In normal circumstances this role will require to travel frequently (50% of the time).
