We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition specialist to help drive and scale our recruiting efforts. This person will be on the front lines of representing Wallapop and our values and will successfully demonstrate this by ensuring a positive, high-quality candidate experience. As a member of the talent acquisition team, you realize that every touchpoint is an opportunity to further engage with talent and enhance our employer brand. The ideal profile will be thoughtful and consultative in their approach, focusing on the quality and caliber of targeted prospects and candidates.

The day to day involves:

  • Engage and hire critical profiles across all areas of the business and become a search expert across these functional areas by understanding hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements. Main profiles to focus on: Marketing, Sales, Operations (CX) and Finance.
  • Ownership of the creation and publication of job advertisements on suitable job portals. You own the hiring process creation and guiding, educating and influencing your internal stakeholders into hiring best practices catering for potential assessment, inclusivity, volume, and scale
  • Screening incoming applications, interview candidates, and coordinate interviews for hiring managers
  • Build strong pipelines of digital talents, using traditional and creative channels, while levering community events and our tools Maintain an exceptional level of quality in our data entry and use this data analysis in every recruitment decision
  • Taking part in projects that aim to improve our Candidate Experience, Employer Branding, internal programmes and policies, etc
  • Engage with passive candidates in English and Spanish and understand their underlying motivations, while providing detailed information on the position requirements and company mission
  • Advocate for Wallapop’s diversity, equity, and inclusion needs and initiatives

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience as a 360 recruiter for a modern tech company/startup/scaleup (in-house and/ or as a consultant)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the different digital profiles of our ecosystem
  • Proven track record sourcing and hiring passive candidates from top companies
  • The ability to operate in Spanish and English through native level isn’t required in either

Our hiring process:


- Intro Call - This usually takes about 30-45 minutes and will focus on giving you more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience and expectations.

- Take-home task: We will share a task with you to complete in your own time at home in order to demonstrate your skillset.

- Competency Interview - ran by our Talent Acquisition team and/or hiring manager. We will focus on gaining insights and understanding on how you operate in the workplace as well as your fit to our values. This usually takes 45 min to 1 hour.

- Expertise interview - ran by the hiring team. focusing on hard skills and domaine knowledge required for the role. This usually take 60 to 90 minutes / 60 minutes.

- Practical interview - ran by the hiring team and relevant stakeholders across other functions. The focus will be on assessing your ability to apply your skillset to the wallapop context.

- Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with our Talent Acquisition team and will then be confirmed in writing.
