About the role:
Wallbox is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join the Security Team at Wallbox. This person will be responsible for ensuring the applications developed within wallbox are secure. For that this person will manage a vulnerability program, perform penetration tests, work together with Software to apply security patches, implement controls needed by Compliance, and so on. If you know OWASP Top 10 out of memory and like both sides of offensive and defensive appsec, this is the role for you.
Requirements
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in similar Application Security roles, specially in IoT and Web environments.
- 3+ years of software development or application security testing experience, and exposed to the OWASP Top 10
- Previous hands-on experience in securing software development on any of the following languages: PHP, Javascript, Golang, Kotlin, Java, Swift.
- Develop a DevSecOps mindset and process within the Engineering team, helping to automate security testing within the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in secure coding and code reviews, mobile app security, web application firewalls.
- Manage penetration test activities of application and infrastructure.
- Support the bug bounty program handling.
- English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
- Remote 100% is fine but occasional travel availability to Barcelona is required (within 4h flight distance).
Nice to have:
- Certifications: OSCP, CEH, CISSP
- Previous experience in other security roles.
- Previous experience in IoT, automotive or EV charging industry.
